  Enjoy a beautiful sunset cruise aboard an iconic U.S. Coast Guard approved 80-foot yacht, a three-masted wooden-style schooner modeled after a 19^th-century New Haven Sharpie!  You’ll see sweeping views of the Stamford coastline, local lighthouses, and neighboring Greenwich waters. 

  **Please register NOW as spaces are limited, and this event will sell out quickly.**

   When: Friday, September 18^th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  **The boat will leave promptly at 5:00 p.m. No refunds if you miss the boat. Allow plenty of time to park.** 

   Where: John J. Boccuzzi Park - 200 Southfield Ave, Stamford. Parking is available in the lot in front of the Cohens’ SoundWaters building at this location. Please allow plenty of time (20-30 minutes) to have your parking validated and avoid an $80 parking ticket.

  We will enjoy a one hour tour of a hidden local gem, the Onera Foundation.  Located on Park Street adjacent to God’s Acre, the Onera Foundation believes that historic and significant American architecture is a vital part of the nation’s culture, worth protecting in the same way we do for other national treasures. The Onera Foundation advocates for the preservation of historic American architecture by funding exhibitions and innovative programming, including art and film.

  IMPORTANT:  there are stairs to access the building and exhibits. 

  We will meet at Onera at 11:45 AM to begin our 12 noon tour.  The tour will wrap up at 1 PM, and we will then head to Le Pain Quotidien (LPQ) for lunch as a group. 

  The tour of Onera is free, but since capacity is limited to 12, we do ask that you cancel in advance to allow someone from the waitlist to take your place.  Lunch will be paid on your own at LPQ.

  Please note that most paid and free parking in central downtown New Canaan is limited to 2 hours, with the exception of the Playhouse lot which is 3 hours.  Refer to the Parking Map for details.

  ROCKETTES CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

  

  Let's get in the holiday spirit by attending the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular!!

  When:   Tuesday, November 17^th for the 3 PM show

  Where:  Radio City Music Hall,1260 Avenue of the Americas in NYC               

  Cost:     Orchestra tickets are $83 each

                (No refunds, unless the waitlist is honored). 

  Transportation Options:

  Metro North(mta.info) details to follow

  Carpool: Meet at Waveny Park by 10:30 AM ($20 per person cash to your driver for gas, parking) Note: option is limited by number of volunteers willing to drive

  Drive yourself:  Meet at the preshow lunch or Radio City Music Hall.

  Optional preshow lunch: The Elgin,  64 W 48^th St. Participants will meet in Grand Central Station by 12 pm to walk to lunch.
