The Encore Expo group will be heading to the N.Y. Botanical Gardens on September 18 to see Georgia O’Keeffe: “Visions of Hawaii”. The exhibit includes rarely seen Georgia O’Keeffe paintings of Hawaii from a 9 week visit in 1939, and a short film featuring O’Keeffe’s letters to her husband, famed photographer Alfred Stieglitz. In addition, the Haupt Conservatory has a grand display of remarkable beauty and variety of Hawaiian flora.

The group will meet at Waveny Park at 9:30 am. to carpool to NYBG. The exhibit opens at 10:00 am. 

Visitors will pay upon entering the NYBG: Adults $23; Seniors $20: Members Free.

Lunch at the Hudson Garden Grill will follow the tour and the cost will be divided equally among attendees.
