The Encore Club of New Canaan is a social club founded in 1985 by a group of New Canaan women looking to pursue friendship through a variety of activities. And that original spirit continues today!
Membership is open to all women who reside in New Canaan and the surrounding area. New members are welcome on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

For the fiscal club year 2026 (July 1) -2027 (June 30), dues are $50.00, payable beginning in April 2026.

Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
Encore Club members acknowledge that participation in Club activities involves inherent risks, including risks arising from the negligence of others.
Each member voluntarily assumes all such risks and waives any and all claims against Encore Club and its members, officers, directors, and volunteers for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in, attendance at, or travel to or from any Club activity or event.
Each member is solely responsible for her decision to participate in any activity and for any resulting consequences.
Alcohol Policy
All Club members and guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly. Members and guests should arrange for a designated driver or other transportation when appropriate.
Participation in Encore activities is voluntary and at each participant’s own discretion and risk. Encore Club shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, claims, or expenses resulting from the actions of any member or guest. By attending an Encore event, members and guests agree to hold Encore Club harmless from any such claims or liabilities.
Attendance at any Encore event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Member Privacy
As a member, I agree not to use the Encore Directory or any membership list for any purpose other than Club business. I will not sell, share, distribute, or provide membership information or the Directory to any third party.
I understand that photographs and videos may be taken at Club events and may be used in Club communications, including newsletters, the Club website, email communications, and social media.
If I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the photographer or event organizer and to avoid participation in posed group photos or video sessions whenever practical.
