If you enjoy going to the movies and love an opportunity to discuss the movie with other movie enthusiasts, then you should consider joining Critics’ Corner.  We meet at a member’s house.  After socializing over appetizers and some drinks, we then discuss and rate the two movies, which we will have already seen on our own.  Each attendee pays $5 to cover the cost of the drinks and brings either an appetizer or dessert.

We will have our next Critics Corner meeting on Friday, September 24th, at 7:00 PM, at the Home of Jill Ernst and Chuck Loesch.

Additionally, the NEW 2021-2022 Encore COVID waiver must be completed to attend. If you have not done so, click WAIVER to complete.

Glenda Jackson stars as Maud, a woman determined to find her missing friend Elizabeth -- but can she solve the mystery of her disappearance before her dementia erases all the clues?

The Child in Time - (Available on Amazon Prime – This is also a PBS Production. Please notice the seven day free trial offer.) Benedict Cumberbatch stars as a successful author of children's books. He is confronted with the unthinkable when his only child disappears in a supermarket. He and his wife quickly find themselves torn apart by the loss.
