The following two movies will be discussed and then rated:
The Life of Pi : A 2012 adventure-drama film directed and produced by Ang Lee. The film stars Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Rafe Spall, Gerard Depardieu and Adil Hussain. The storyline revolves around Pi Patel, a 16 year old Indian, and a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, who are both stranded on a lifeboat for 227 days after a shipwreck. Stand By Me : A 1986 American coming-of-age drama film directed by Rob Reiner and based on Stephen King’s 1982 novella The Body. The film is set in the fictional town of Castle Rock and stars Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O’Connell as four boys who set out on a journey to find the dead body of a missing boy.
