Irwin Park Walk & Lee Garden Tour 

Celebrate spring with a beautiful morning of walking, flowers, and friendship!

• When: Tuesday, May 12, 10:00 AM
• Starting Point: Irwin Park, 848 Weed Street, New Canaan
• Garden Location: Lee Garden, 89 Chichester Road, New Canaan
• Parking at Lee Garden: Street parking on Wascussue Court,  Myanos Road or Toquam Road (close to the garden)

Optional Lunch @ the Apple Cart (Mead Park) 

We’ll begin @10am with a scenic 2–3 mile walk at Irwin Park. Afterward, we’ll drive (can carpool) about one mile (3 minutes) to Lee Garden, where a member of the Beautification League will lead us on a guided tour and share the fascinating history of New Canaan’s treasured garden—at the height of its bloom.

We may also have the opportunity to enjoy watching plein air painters creating artwork in the garden.

Enjoy fresh air, vibrant blossoms, and great company—what better way to welcome spring?
