A Magical Firefly Walk
Colhoun Preserve, New Canaan Land Trust
June 29 (Monday)

Step into a summer evening filled with wonder as we experience one of nature’s most mesmerizing light shows—fireflies dancing at dusk.
We’ll begin with an
optional group dinner at Cava (2 Forest St, New Canaan) at 6:30 PM. The prix fixe menu is
$35, payable at the restaurant. This is a relaxed opportunity to connect before the adventure begins.
After dinner, we’ll head to the beautiful Colhoun Preserve to kick off the night. A guide from the New Canaan Nature Center will share a brief presentation about the center’s work and the fascinating biology of fireflies. Then, we’ll walk into the meadows to witness their magic firsthand.
