By clicking on this waiver, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure to COVID-19. You, your family members and guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Encore Club of New Canaan and its Board Members. Guests will be asked to sign their own waiver as well.

If you are uncomfortable with the risk, or have an underlying health condition, please do not participate in Encore Club in-person events at this time.  We have many remote events via ZOOM which welcome attendance from all members.

Encore members and guests who do participate MUST abide by the following rules as indicated by our State and Local officials:

           -The wearing of a mask when not eating or drinking.

           -Maintaining 6’ distance from another member while participating in Encore Club events.

Additionally:

           -If you have tested positively for COVID, you will not be permitted to participate in Encore Club events for a period of not less than 14 days after receiving a negative test result.

           -If within the past 14 days you have traveled from a state, as identified by the State of Connecticut, where COVID cases are resurging, you will not be permitted to participate in an Encore Club event.

           -If you have an underlying medical condition that increases your vulnerability, you should enjoy our Encore Club ZOOM events instead.

This waiver must be acknowledged by all members of Encore Club of New Canaan who wish to participate in our IN-PERSON events.
